Issues #1 - 5 -- "Alias Investigations" Ex-Avenger (sorta) Jessica Jones runs an independent private investigation firm. She gets hired by a woman to look into her sister's odd behavior. What begins as a simple investigation spirals out of control into murder, government conspiracy, and coverups. 5-issue storyline
Issues #6 - 9 -- "B Level" Jessica Jones is hired by a woman to find her husband. Her husband is named Rick Jones, the guy who was involved in Bruce Banner becoming the Hulk. Jessica Jones is not related. Jones is a popular name, man. As she investigates, she finds out that this this Rick Jones guy is more than he may seem... or less than he may seem, as it turns out, actually. 4-issue storyline
Issues #11 - 14 -- "Rebecca Please Come Home" A teenage girl has disappeared from her backwater podunk shithole town, and Jessica Jones is on the case! A tryst with a cop, a confrontation with a drunk asshole father, and EVEN A GRUESOME MURDER won't get in Jones' way of finding the truth! Unless, of course, she loses interest. Then it doesn't really matter. 4-issue storyline
Issues #16 - 21 -- "The Underneath" A teenage girl wearing a Spider-Woman costume has been drugged and basically kidnapped, and Jessica Jones takes it upon herself to find the girl and return her to... J. Jonah Jameson? What? Really? Yes, really. Read this shit to find out why or else I'll come find where you live and throw all your mustard jars at your cat. 6-issue storyline
